Default EXS:CA - Update

Wow. Haven't been in here since September? Doesn't 'feel' like that much time has passed - or does it?

What a difference a few months can make, huh? Oh, and positive rumors surrounding our land in West Timmins seems to have made some difference too - to put it lightly. There's no doubt that CD is building an awesome land package overall, but it sure would be nice to get some firm info (preferably in the form of a news release from the company) to back up at least a portion of the gains we've seen since drilling started at TPW.

Anyone make the trip to hear McCoach speak in Phoenix last week? Im guessing he had lots of good (although likely vague) info to share.

Default Switching Gears

Well now that that particular pump is over and the dump is well under way, we can at least now look forward to the next round of the same. I was wondering when the mood would change, as it was really just a matter of time. I just hope they don't take as long to switch gears as they did last time.

I said it earlier on this same board and I'll say it again. EXS has a lot of potential and it is a very good spec play (that's all it is right now, so trade it accordingly), but be prepared for the typical games that the MMs like to play with stocks like this one, because they are all over EXS. Pumping it hard to move their paper, and then smashing the 'short' button when the time is right. These guys even recruited Greg McCoach (a once credible news letter writer) to help with this recent pump. Very smart on their part for getting him involved, but rediculously STUPID on his own part for taking things over the top the way he did. He sure sold himself out on this one. What a waste.

The MMs are still well involved for the time being so the trading potential should at least be sustained through this next phase of drilling. Oh, and don't forget about holes 7,8 and 9 from Phase I. Those holes haven't been reported yet (still at the lab?) but I hear that 7 is being hyped as a potential game changer, so that story should bring in at least a few more dream chasers. Hey, anything's possible, right? A decent hole could net us a $1.4B market cap - or at least that's what McCoach says. Not sure what he's been smoking, but it must be good.

What will Monday bring?

I'm guessing that most of the short covering has already occured (late last week) so we can probably expect the SP to drop further from here. Hard to say where it'll bottom so I'll be watching for the daily volume to settle before I do anything.

I'm extremely confident in the ability of these particular MMs to move this stock however they see fit. As long as they're around, I'll be around. But when they decide to finally pull out, you can bet that I'll be walking through that exit right along with them, because EXS will be FINISHED at that point. Still lots of time before that happens though. At least in my opinion.

Good things to come, so don't give up just yet

Default After the storm......

Well well well.

Monday has come and gone and we've recovered almost 20 cents since Friday's close. I was sure the MMs were going to take it down further, but it appears they've chosen a different route.

McCoach did say this was a safe buy to $1.10 based on what we knew PRIOR to those first 6-holes at TPW so, if you believe that, I suppose anything below $1.10 should be considered a bargain.
