Default WTN:CA - Technical Analysis

Big rebound off 200 MA. Could we be forming the bottom of this SH%T slide? Lots of indicators showing oversold. Coming out of lunch time lets see which way it goes. Lets close where we are at today and open 2.20 tom morning for the start of a slow but steady Bull run for spring wishful thinking. Lets hope the 220 m lawsuit is a joke.

Cheers

Default what is its not a joke

What do think will happen??

Did John Hogg do an insider knowledge deal or not? He certainly does not seem the type of guy to do anything so stupid..........not just because he's from England..........as he seems a reputable and honest guy. For the amount he was being paid and the amount he would have made from the stock sale it doe snot make any sense.

Why did it take the other shareholders 2 years to get something going against the Executives? Was it an attempt to get the share price down in order to either buy more cheaply, or short, or wishful thinking?

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I'm going along with many other people's views in the fact that these lawsuits happen often and more times than none they fizzle out. If it does go to court, which I believe it will, I would hope all the digging around proves in favor of WTN. If not companies are prepared for legal and unforeseen problems such as these.

Most important, Coal is still being processed and China, Japan and India even the states want it . WTN along with all of Canada can provide it. We are a huge producer and exporter of it. Nothing has changed. Weak coal prices yes but its a Commodity!

http://www.worldcoal.org/home/ <---wealth of info

P.S I'm wanting to see it open 2.20ish in the am tomorrow and show some more buying. Wanting to see good news out of the US tomorrow with job numbers and a positive day overall in both markets. Oil is up a bit right now and so is gold. CAN$ down a bit. Nice for commodities. But then again all my thoughts are speculative.

Cheers

Default seems ur right

It went up well in early trading.....................as no fundementals have changed then its a good buy at these prices so I jumped in and bought some more while in the 2.20's at least it averages me down a bit!!

In their webcast in November China was mentioned by their President as taking in some 35m to 50m tonnes a year from outside China.  He also mentioned once again the increase in planned production to 10m t a year by bringing Willow on line and ramping production up all over. Its worth reading to get a flavour.

Good buy and great trade on your part! Buy on a somewhat breakout but now add to your position for tomorrow if breakout is confirmed by new high. Buying volume starting to slow but we should close near the high today. Tomorrow I want to see this little reversal confirmed. Just heads up on any developments of this lawsuit. Earnings come Feb as well. We just have to see how far this can go.

When you have a CEO like Don Lindsay of TCK talk about coal today on BNN as highly as he does, its great for my views on any mining company anywhere. He states coal and steel facts.

"You have China producing steel 7x more than the US, that's 7 US economies producing steel, its great for Coal and zinc"

With WTN mining some MET coal that's great.

TCK is hiring more employees where I work and even more in the coal operations side. Outlook is great, just a matter of time for more and more contracts to be made as we edge out of this recession and coal prices to somewhat..wake up.

Cheers.

Default TCK

Was there any mention of Fording Coal, which I guess is of interest to Teck?

I see Grande Cache Coal was ahead by 27c earlier.............no lawsuits though!

With the Koreans and Chinese in BC looking to buy mines, see CUM for that, I was wondering if any thoughts on a take over of either coal companies. Especially WTN as its right now soooooooo cheap.

I bought at 2.21 and an hanging on for now with the rest I have and hoping coal prices take a turn up..............

Default WTN Reversal Confirmed Huge!

Hopes that's enough confirmation the buyers are back and the outlook for coal producers, steelmakers, refiners and building- materials suppliers are the hot sector for awhile.

Over a Million shares in the first ten minutes of trading WTN. Time to long this stock well into spring. Funny how when GCE is doing bad, WTN is doing great!

Cheers

Default Share buy back

Well I  wondered why the volume was so large the last few days and now we know...............it was kinda obvious something was in the works with those volumes.

I wonder who really is going to benefit from the last few days rally, not the small guy I bet!!

Well I did ok so won't complain just see what happens in the next 12 months and hang on.
